We are an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing funding for animal welfare, environmental justice, food justice, and humanitarian projects, so any donations that you make will go directly to our programs. We do not have any paid employees, and our overhead costs are very low, mainly involving website maintenance, an insurance policy, and some outreach expenses. We thoroughly review the recipients of our grants to ensure that your funds are being well spent, and you can watch our website and sign up for our e-newsletter to learn about the projects we have chosen to support.  Our review process involves a thorough examination of the materials that applicants have submitted in their application packages. We also check their financial information on GuideStar. Continued support from our Foundation for more than one year is dependent on the success of the project and on the grantee’s communication with us.

Any foreign organizations that receive support from us must have a U.S.-based fiscal agent.
